Cpt. Sparrow pays a visit

The world's most popular pirate paid a surprise visit to the BC Children's Hospital Monday.

Capt. Jack Sparrow, aka actor Johnny Depp, of Pirates of the Caribbean fame, reportedly spent several hours at the Lower Mainland hospital, visiting children and staff.

The good captain has been known to stop by hospitals in secret to spend time with children.

According to a post on the hospital's Facebook page, “Depp showed he has a heart of gold by spending more than five hours meeting one-on-one with every patient, from newborns to teens.”
