BC Transit would like to salute their transit operators for all their work.
Saturday marks International Driver Appreciation day and BC Transit would like to take a moment to appreciate their transit operators behind the wheel.
“Rain or shine, snow or hail, transit drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of hundreds of thousands of people,” said Todd Stone, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure.
“They get us where we need to be, and I am proud to join BC Transit, and commuters across the province, in celebrating this important event.”
There are 1,350 operators across British Columbia that connect communities.
BC Transit has made cards that can be printed off and given to people’s favourite operators. To find a card visit their website.
