Big White hosts hundreds

Big White will be hosting hundreds from the Canadian Ski Patrol for a conference at the end of March.

Canada’s largest organization of volunteer first responders will hold its annual leadership conference from March 30 to April 2.

2017 will mark 77 years of serving Canadians.

The Big White Ski Patrol has been recognized twice in the last 10 years for its performance in the Canadian Ski Patrol.

The 2017 conference is built on a theme of leadership. The event includes exciting first aid and toboggan-handling competitions, awards presentations in lifesaving and a variety of governance, administration and planning functions.

Those that attend the event will be able to mingle on the slopes.

Okanagan resident Josh Dueck, a Paralympic Games sit ski medalist, will be the keynote speaker.
