He's the cutest member of the Victoria Police Department.
And he needs a name.
Victoria police have turned to Grade 4 students for the adorable task of giving the chocolate Labrador his moniker.
They expect a lot of options from which to choose.
“It could be upwards of 1,000, I think is what the school liaison officers were saying today just for Grade 4 within Victoria and Esquimalt. Hopefully within that we get a lot of good names,” Const. Eric LeQuesne told CTV News. “It’s a tough process to choose what we’re going to actually name him.”
The winning school will be rewarded with pizza.
The pooch joined the force this week, but he still needs to complete his 10-week training in explosives detection.
“He just wants to play, he just wants to have fun and he’s got a lot of drive and I think that will translate very well to his working career,” LeQuesne said.
