Shooting victims turn up

Police say two shooting victims who turned up at an Abbotsford hospital Friday night are connected to an earlier shooting investigation.

Police responded to reports of a shooting on Walsh Avenue just before 8 p.m.

They say although officers were able to collect evidence that a shooting had occurred, no one involved in the incident could be found.

Not long after, police say two men arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police have confirmed the two men are the victims in the incident and say their injuries are being treated.

Police say the shooting is believed to have been targeted.

One of the men was treated at the hospital and released, while the other remains in the hospital with serious injuries, but is currently stable.

Evidence and video footage from the area are still being collected and police say they are looking for witnesses.
