Vancouver Police are looking for a "high-risk" offender who's wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Christopher Russell Schafer, 39, has a long criminal history that includes sexual assault.
He's on a long-term supervision order after serving time for break-and-enter, sexual assault, uttering threats and assaulting a police officer.
"He failed to return to his halfway house on Dec. 10 and a Canada-wide warrant has now been issued for his arrest," says the Vancouver Police Department.
He's described as Aboriginal, 5-foot-8, 168 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
He has a tattoo of “WANDA LEE” on the left side of his neck.
Anyone who sees Schafer or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
