A naked man with a hankering for eggs was arrested in Vancouver Tuesday night.
The 35-year-old walked into a home near Cambie Street and King Edward Avenue through an unlocked door, took off his clothes, grabbed some eggs from the fridge and started cooking.
The man apparently struggled in the unfamiliar kitchen, damaging the stove and microwave.
A resident heard the noise, but assumed it was his roommate. When he finally decided to check out the racket, he discovered the naked chef and chased him away.
Police were called, and arrested the suspect a few blocks away.
Charges of mischief and breaking-and-entering have been recommended.
Strangley, it's not the first time this strange crime has happened.
In July 2013, police were called to a home in East Vancouver after the resident found a naked 30-year-old man cooking eggs in his kitchen. On this occasion, the man had even used the shower before helping himself to the grub.
