Record attempt is a trap

A world record attempt happening next week is definitely a trap.

The Monsters of Schlock, who bill themselves as the "most extreme two-man circus sideshow," will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for having the most number of animal traps set on the human body in one minute.

Burnaby Q. Orbax and Sweet Pepper Klopek will make the attempt 11 a.m. Oct. 25 at Fright Nights at Playland.

Klopek happens to already hold the current record, with 26.

"This year, the duo plan on breaking that record by attempting to set off a total of 36 animal traps on a human body," says a statement.
 
In 2015, the duo broke the world record for most motorcycle jumps over a human body while lying on a bed of nails.
