RCMP responded to reports of a plane crash Sunday afternoon in South Surrey.
In a release, Surrey RCMP said they received reports at about 2:15 p.m. of an Ultra Lite plane crashing into the water of Crescent Beach.
Police spotted the crash from the 2400 block of Christopherson Road in South Surrey.
Both the Pilot and passenger escaped without injury, and were both checked out by BC Ambulance crews and released at scene.
The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre and Transport Canada have been brought in to investigate. It is not known at this time what caused the crash.
