Rudy Johnson Bridge
A search is underway of the Fraser River near Williams Lake after a 24-year-old man fell off the Rudy Johnson Bridge Tuesday night.
Just after midnight, several people were hanging out on the bridge when the man accidentally fell off into the river below.
Police were called, but a search of the area couldn't begin until daylight.
“We have the local search and rescue and we also have the RCMP Kodiak plane doing a fly over,” said Staff Sgt. Del Byron of the Williams Lake RCMP.
