A serious crash between a BMW sedan and a police cruiser closed westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada highway for several hours last night.
CTV video from the scene shows the SUV was severely damaged on the front end.
A Chilliwack RCMP cruiser was also involved in the collision, say the Abbotsford Police.
Lanes near Sumas Road in Abbotsford were shut down during the crash investigation.
It's unclear whether the crash was part of a pursuit.
