Property owners get ready – your tax bill is in the mail.
At the end of last week property owners throughout the province began receiving their property tax notices.
Those within city boundaries will receive their tax notice directly from their municipality, with instructions on how to complete payment online, in person and through their financial institution.
Whereas property owners in the Central Okanagan East and Central Okanagan West Electoral Areas will soon receive Rural Property Tax Notices directly from the provincial government.
Property owners are reminded to claim their Home Owner Grant and pay their taxes by the end of day on Monday, July 4 to avoid any penalty.
Current taxes that are not paid are subject to a 10 per cent penalty.
