Shooting not random attack

RCMP investigators are still investigating a shooting in Celista that sent three men to hospital on Sunday.

Investigators confirmed Wednesday the people involved in the shooting knew each other before the incident.

“We can state that the violence seen was not a random act directed at random people," said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk in a statement. "The individuals involved were known to each other."

Chase RCMP responded to reports of gunshots in Celista at 6:55 p.m. Sunday. Two men suffered serious gunshot wounds, while a third was treated for a minor gunshot wound.
