RCMP is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing Salmon Arm resident who suffers from dementia.
Mildred Ekren, 76, was last seen December 7 at about 7 a.m. at her residence in the area of 5th Street and 10th Avenue.
“Police are very concerned for Mildred Ekren's health and well-being as she suffers from the onset of dementia,” said Staff Sgt. Scott West.
Ekren is described as a Caucasian female, five-feet four-inches tall, slim build with green eyes. She was last seen wearing a green jacket.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ekren is urged to contact their local police, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
