Canada Wide Warrant

  • The Coquitlam RCMP is requesting assistance from the public in locating David William MILLER. David MILLER, a Coquitlam resident, is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for Sexual Assault. He failed to appear for sentencing and has not been seen since his last court appearance.

  • The Whistler Pemberton RCMP responded to 66 calls for service this past weekend. Police attended two disturbances, one noisy party, one fight and one assault. Five individuals were arrested and lodged in cells for being over intoxicated. While conducting routine traffic stops, members served five drivers with 24 hour driving prohibitions for alcohol.

    At approximately 2:30am on December 10th, 2005 the Whistler Pemberton RCMP received information regarding a domestic disturbance. Subsequent to an immediate investigation, a 28 year old Whistler male was arrested. The accused allegedly threw a laptop computer at the victim, pushed her against a wall, then threw her out of the door to their residence. Said male was released with a court date and strict ‘no-contact’ conditions in the interest of protecting the 22 year old female victim who also resides in Whistler. Fortunately the female did not sustain significant injuries during the altercation. The name of the male is not yet released.

    At approximately 11pm on Saturday December 10th, 2005 a 30 year old Whistler male was arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Controlled Substance. During a routine traffic stop, a member of the RCMP had grounds for arrest under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The search incidental to arrest revealed 11 pills of Ecstacy, 3.3 grams of Marihuana and 11 small ‘baggies’ of Cocaine. The male was subsequently released with a court date to face the charges. The name of the male may be released when Federal Crown Counsel formally lays the charge.

  • A 22-year-old man has been found guilty of aggravated assault for his brutal attack on a Good Samaritan at a Richmond service station in the summer of 2004. CBC News

  • The defence lawyer for an HIV-positive man on trial for aggravated assault and sexual assault in B.C. Supreme Court has described his client's actions as "morally wrong, even reprehensible and deceptive" – but not criminal. CBC News

  • On December 11th at about 04:00 in the morning, members of the Chilliwack RCMP, Chilliwack Fire Dept and Fraser Valley Traffic Services attended to a report of vehicle fire approximately 1 KM west of the Lickman Rd interchange. Upon arrival it was determined that this was in fact a vehicle collision.

    A 2005 Nissan Altima left the highway and collided with a tree in the ditch then caught fire. The two occupants of the vehicle died as a result of the crash.

    Fraser Valley Traffic Services and the BC Coroners Service are investigating the matter.
