One man is dead, another is in hospital following an early morning stabbing in Burnaby.
Police were called to the scene in the 6100 block of 14th Avenue just before 6 a.m.
They found three men inside the home; one was dead, one is now in custody, and the third had to be taken to hospital with injuries sustained during the arrest.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating the incident, and the province's Independent Investigations Office has also sent people to the scene.
They say that according to Burnaby RCMP, officers responded to a report of a double stabbing.
And upon arrival, officers came into contact with an adult male, who was shot by officers.
No other information has been provided at this time, and no officers were injured in the incident.
