Highway 6 is now reopened one kilometre west of Needles Ferry Dock after drainage installation and highway rebuilding.
It had been closed for a month following a landslide that undermined the roadway and caused it to collapse. Traffic was diverted on a nearby logging road.
DriveBC warns travellers to please be advised that the repaired road still has a gravel section. Drivers are asked to reduce speed and drive with caution.
