Suspect in wallet theft
According to Oliver RCMP, a customer at Buy Low Foods in Oliver recently had her wallet stolen off the counter while she was in the store.
The police were contacted by the store manager on Jan. 16 and told about the theft.
In-store video depicts a male standing behind the 78-year-old female victim and shows that he pocketed her wallet when she turned away to pay for her groceries.
The subject of interest was a male with a days growth of facial hair, wearing a red and black bomber style jacket and a black toque.
Oliver RCMP are looking for public support in identifying this male.
