Woman dies near Blue River
A woman from central Vancouver Island is dead after a vehicle crashed near Blue River, about 230 kilometres north of Kamloops.
Clearwater RCMP say a northbound vehicle went off Highway 5, flipped and landed on its roof.
Officers say the woman did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
The man driving the car, who is also from Vancouver Island, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Drugs and alcohol are not considered factors and road conditions were good at the time of the crash.
The names of the victim and driver are being withheld until family are notified. (CFJC)
