Man dies at logging site
The man was working as a chokerman at the logging site when he died.
A man who died on Monday following a logging accident near Nelson has been identified.
The BC Coroners Service says it was 36-year-old Kyle Levy of Balfour.
He was working as a chokerman on a logging site off the Smallwood Creek Forest Service Road when he was struck by a tree.
The incident happened just after 8 a.m. on May 26. Levy was deceased at the scene.
His death is still under investigation by the BC Coroners Service, WorksafeBC and the RCMP.
