RCMP investigate death

1:00 p.m. - The North District Major Crime Unit has announced the victim's name as Corey Huu Le.

His body was found in the 1000 block of 11th Avenue North in Williams Lake.

RCMP are requesting the public's assistance with the investigation, which is still in its early stages.

RCMP are investigating what they are calling the homicide of a 22-year-old man in the central interior of B.C.

Police say officers responded to a complaint of a residential disturbance in Williams Lake early this morning and found a man dead at the scene.

Officers say he was known to police and call the death a "targeted incident."

A 21-year-old woman was also found and was transported to hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators continue to sweep the area.
