Farm accident victim named

The Beaverdell man who lost his life last week in a tragic farming accident has been identified.
The BC Coroners Service says it was 65-year-old Larry Dale Hultgren of Beaverdell.
“Mr. Hultgren was working with family members on their farm, preparing a hayfield, when he became entangled in machinery. He was deceased at the scene,” said Coroner Larry Marzinzik.
The Coroners Service and the RCMP continue to investigate this death.

RCMP confirm a man has died following an accident involving a piece of farm machinery in Beaverdell.
The man was apparently working on his property on a tractor when the incident happened.
Witnesses tell Castanet he became entangled under the tractor.
Fire, RCMP and BC Ambulance were called to the scene, but the man did not survive.
The BC Coroners office has now taken over the investigation.
