Cyclist struck by train
A man suffered only minor injuries after he was struck by a train near Canoe, early Tuesday morning.
The 45-year-old told police that he was riding his bicycle west on the train tracks around 4 a.m. and didn’t see the train coming.
He was found sitting on the train tracks approximately two kilometres east of the Ja Moore Crossing and taken to hospital.
Canoe is located northeast of Salmon Arm on the Trans-Canada highway.
