Road rage pepper spray

Two children and their father escaped serious injury Tuesday evening when they were pepper-sprayed in an apparent road rage incident.

Surrey RCMP say the man was out walking with his kids, aged 4 and 6, just before 8 p.m. when he saw a vehicle speeding in the area.

Sgt. Tom Thompson says the man yelled at the driver to slow down and some words were exchanged before the vehicle sped away.

But the driver returned a short time later, got out, and pepper-sprayed the father and both children as more words were exchanged.

Thompson says all three suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Police are seeking a black Range Rover and three young East Indian males who were inside the vehicle.
