Saanich police are investigating a possible murder-suicide after a gruesome discovery in the waters off Cattle Point.
A man’s body was found in the waters off Oak Bay around 3:30 p.m. Monday, about an hour after the body of a woman was found inside a home in the 1800-block of Newton Street, in that Victoria suburb.
Police say the deaths appear to be linked and there is no risk to the public.
Investigators are still trying to determine what connection the two people had to each other.
