Transit cops shoot at suspect
The search is on for a suspect after Transit Police fired shots at a suspect vehicle near Gateway SkyTrain Station Sunday.
Transit Police confirmed at around 4 p.m., an officer fired shots at a suspect who fled in a vehicle, but aren’t saying much else.
It’s unclear what prompted police to open fire in the first place, or whether they were shot at first.
Police haven’t released a vehicle description at this time.
The Surrey RCMP Major Crime Unit is investigating the incident.
