Brutal assault caught on tape

A man is facing charges after a brutal assault was caught on camera at a tattoo parlour in Vancouver.

According to CTV BC, the woman was in the process of asking the suspect to leave when he attacked her, kicking her in the face and throat.

The woman tried to defend herself with a chair before mall security stepped in. The assault allegedly continued off camera, according to CTV, until police showed up and apprehended the suspect.

Vancouver resident Byron Thomas Hobbs, 31, has been charged with two counts of assault. He has been released on bail.

According to a YouTube page of a woman named Jojo who apparently owns Looks Wow Face and Body Art Tattoo, the suspect was an ex-client of hers who was demanding a touch up.

Looks Wow Face & Body Art is located in the Tinseltown mall in downtown Vancouver.
