Man charged with killing his sister
A 27-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of his sister at a home in Coquitlam.
Jarek Paderewski made his first court appearance Monday.
Police were called Sunday after paramedics responded to a call about a woman in distress.
RCMP Sgt. Adam MacIntosh of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says 33-year-old Maja Paderewska was found dead.
He says police have not yet established a motive for the homicide and that Paderewski is not known to police.
