Heavy snow expected on BC highways
All higher mountain passes are expecting heavy snow and treacherous driving conditions overnight and into tomorrow.
Hwy. 5 is expecting heavy Snowfall, especially between Hope and Merritt.
DriveBC says if you are travelling after 6 p.m. you should expect delays in that area.
Highway 1 is also closed in both directions east and west of Revelstoke due to avalanche control.
Check DriveBC for the most recent updates before you head out.
