Pedestrian struck and killed by truck
A 20-year-old woman was killed Tuesday night after being hit by a semi-truck at King George Boulevard and 104th Avenue in Surrey.
The woman was rushed to Royal Columbian Hospital but later died from her injuries.
Surrey RCMP are asking witnesses who saw the crash to come forward.
The driver of the semi-truck stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
