Highway 1 reopens to traffic
Highway 1, the Trans Canada Highway, has reopened.
The highway has been closed since from Craigellachie to Golden since Thursday.
According to DriveBC, the section of highway from Craigellachie to Revelstoke due to snow deposit removal while the Revelstoke to Golden stretch was closed for avalanche control.
Both sections of highway reopened early Friday afternoon.
