Travel Advisory in back in effect due to freezing rain and snow from Kamloops to Vavenby. 15-25 cm is expected starting tonight through Friday. Travellers are advised to exercise caution and consider alternate plans.
UPDATE 7:50 P.M.
Freezing Rain from Kamloops to Vavenby is now clear.
DriveBC has issued a travel advisory for Highway 5, in both directions.
The advisory is in effect due to freezing rain and snow from Kamloops to Vavenby (North Thompson) (144.1 km).
15-25 cm of snow is expected starting tonight through Friday.
Travellers are advised to exercise caution and consider alternate plans.
