Kamloops armed robbery

A Mac's Convenience Store in Kamloops was held up on Friday afternoon.

At approximately 1:25 p.m. a lone female wearing a red coat entered the store located at 205 Tranquille Rd. holding a knife. She told the clerk to give her the money and the clerk did as asked.

The suspect fled on foot and was last seen heading north bound up Tranquille Rd. The area was closed off by the investigating police units in an effort to locate the suspect.

The best description the police have at this time is a white female in her late 30’s wearing a red winter jacket and grey pants. She had a hood pulled up over her head and face area in an attempt to be concealed.

The investigation continues on this event. If anyone has information they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers, or call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
