Few details are known about a fatal motor vehicle crash in the North Okanagan.

It happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Learmouth Road and Highway 6.

RCMP spokesperson, Gord Molendyk, says the accident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.

“The highway will be closed until further notice while police deal with the accident scene. Traffic is being re-routed through Buchanan Road for the time being,” says Molendyk.

With all of the officers still at the scene, Molendyk says no further information will be released at this time. (4:32 p.m.)
