One thing is guaranteed -- Cheryl Bernard will win an Olympic medal.

The only question now is the colour.

Bernard takes on defending Olympic champion Anette Norberg of Sweden in Friday's gold medal game.

The Calgary skip, who has dominated the competition in Vancouver, beat Norberg 6-2 during the round robin.

Friday's gold medal game starts at 3 p.m.

China and Switzerland play in Friday morning's bronze medal game.

Our men's hockey team was in attendance Thursday night when the women received their gold medals following a 2-0 win over the United States.

The men will look to use that as motivation when they tackle Slovakia in one of two semi-final games Friday in men's ice hockey.

The Canada/Slovakia semi starts at 6:30. The other semi between the United States and Finland faces off at noon.

A number of medals will be given out on day 15, Friday.

At Whistler, it's the ladies slalom and the men's 4x7.5km biathlon relay while over at Cypress Mountain, it's the ladies snowboard parallel giant slalom.

Three medals are also on the line in short track speed skating. Friday night sees the final in the men's 500 metres along with the women's 1,000 metres as well as the men's 5,000 metre relay.

Canada has a chance for medals in all three events.

Qualifying begins in the men's and women's team pursuit in speed skating Friday while the first two of four runs in the four-man bobsled also goes Friday.

Okanagan athletes Justin Kripps and Chris Le Bihan are both competing.
