The Amazing Spider-Man 3D
Release date: July 3, 2012
When a young Peter Parker discovers his father's study has been broken into, his parents quickly pack up and take him to stay with his Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and Aunt May (Sally Field). Little does he know he'll never see his parents again.
As he grows up, despite being a social outcast at high school, Peter (Andrew Garfield) develops a crush on his beautiful classmate, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), with whom he shares a love of science.
One day, Peter discovers a briefcase that belonged to his father, which inspires him to find out more about his parents and why they left him. His investigation leads him to the company of Oscorp and to Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), his father's friend and fellow scientist.
To meet Connors, Peter sneaks into Oscorp and enters a lab with genetically modified spiders, one of which bites him. On the subway home, Peter discovers he has super human abilities and decides to put them to good use.
