Imagine moving into a new home to start building your life, only to find out you aren't the only beings within it.

Kelly (Ashley Greene), a student working as a veterinary tech, and her tech expert boyfriend, Ben (Sebastian Stan), decide to move into her parents' suburban investment property in Palmdale. Strange things begin happening—strange noises, alarms disarming on their own—but the couple manages to chalk it up to rational, logical explanations.

As the events in their home become more and more bizarre, not to mention frightening, they soon discover that they're actually being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force...
