Beginning Tuesday June 16, north-bound lanes along Highway 97 will be re-paved as part of the Highway 97 project. During the construction, at least one lane will be maintained for thru traffic between Gordon Drive and Highway 33 from 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily. Cross traffic will be detoured as required. Paving is scheduled to be completed the first week in July.
Beginning Friday June 5 and continuing through the summer months, the City will be conducting traffic counts along Knox Mountain Road for the update of the Knox Mountain Management Plan. Two counters will be in place before and after the first lookout on the following dates:

Highway 97 Traffic Signal timing
Effective immediately, sensors in the asphalt at intersections in the Highway 97 construction zone have been disabled as crews lay the groundwork for the three-laning of the highway. Traffic signals, including advanced left-turn lights in this area, will operate on timers for the duration of the construction project. See Highway 97 project for more information.
Highway 97 evening lane closures
Beginning Monday April 20, lane restrictions will be in place westbound between Banks Road and Dilworth Drive. The curb lane closure will be in effect weekly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday to Friday. See Highway 97 project for more information.
