ROADS DAILY UPDATE

Road Closures for Rutland May Days Parade
May 14 - On Saturday, May 19, Rutland Road from Highway 33 and McCurdy Road and Hartman Road from Rutland Road to the parking lot entrance will be closed with rolling closures from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to accommodate the Rutland May Days parade.

Knox Mountain Drive Closure
May 14 - Knox Mountain Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. Friday, May 18 to 3 p.m. Monday, May 21 to safely accommodate the annual Knox Mountain Hill Climb

Springfield Road Lane Restrictions
May 14 - Lane restrictions will be in place on Springfield Rd (from Burtch Rd to Ethel St) to accommodate paving from May 24 to June 2, weather dependant. Prep work will be underway May 14 with minimal distruption to traffic. Work is subject to change based on weather conditions.

Springfield Road Closure -  May 26
May 14 - Springfield Road at Ethel Street and Gordon Drive will be closed to traffic on Saturday, May 26 between of 5 a.m. and noon. Detours will be in place. Motorists may experience delays and are encouraged use alternate routes where possible.

Glenmore Footprint Days 2012
May 3 - Beginning Tuesday, May 8 until Friday, May 11, families will be taking part in neighbourhood walks between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The walks will be about 5 km starting from Glenmore Elementary School.

No roads will be closed; however, motorists may experience minor delays at road crossings and are asked to follow the directions of course marshals and be cautious while driving.
