Nine downtown businesses in the Pandosy/Lawrence district, all owned and operated by women, will be holding a fundraiser for the Kelowna Women's Shelter on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend. The businesses involved are:
olive & elle Posh She Couture A Woodside Media Gallery Fresh Scruples hair design Margareta Design Twenty-Twenty Blackfish Apparel Each business will be offering different specials, promotions to raise funds, as well as refreshments and a draw. Information on the shelter will also be available. We hope to show thanks for what we have and at the same time, empower other women in the community.
