Sharon Minemoto is one of Vancouver’s finest jazz pianists. She is swinging, yet subtle; elegant, but also fiery. She holds the B.A. degree in performance from Capilano College and was featured as the pianist for the International Association of Jazz Educators All-Star Band. She is accompanied by Bassist Adam Thomas and Drummer, Paul Townsend. Vancouver jazz vocalist Laura Crema’s powerful voice carries great depth and resonance and she infuses her reading of lyrics with a warm, strong, emotive sensibility. She holds the B.A. degree in Fine and Performing Arts and has studied with Nancy King and Kurt Elling. Paul Grant of CBC Radio’s “Hot Air” aptly summarizes her gifts: |
