The Early Music Studio will visit the sounds of Old World Spain and Italy for their next period performance, Fandango, October 18.
The Kelowna Art Gallery 1315 Water Street Kelowna, BC Featuring Clive Titmuss on guitar and Susan Adams on harpsichord, the intimate performance will be presented on replica instruments in order to help recreate the original sound and mood of the music. The music for the concert includes performances of vihuela pieces by Luis de Narvaez, sonatas for the harpsichord by Domenico Scarlatti, and guitar music by Fernando Sor. Adams also plays a monumental work by Roman organist Frescobaldi with one hundred variations.
