Ballet Kelowna & Canaccord Capital present: Bolero & Other Works
Ballet Kelowna’s sixth season opening show is Bold, Romantic and Provocative. Featured are: a new Ballet choreographed by Ballet Kelowna Artistic Director David LaHay to Maurice Ravel’s famous ‘Bolero’; a newly commissioned piece by Montreal Choreographer Gioconda Barbuto; and a new, longer version of David LaHay’s well received ‘Liebeslieder Waltzes’ inspired by the Johannes Brahms song cycle.
