We are pleased to present the Candesca Choral Ensemble, led by Artistic Director Alexandra Babbel, on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Okanagan Jewish Community Centre located on 102 N. Glenmore Rd (at the intersection of Union).
The Candesca Ensemble will just be returning from a four City European Concert Tour and will be sharing their experiences at the Philosopher's Café presentation. The Candesca singers, ranging in age from 15-19, are all Okanagan girls who worked very hard throughout this past year in preparation for the Concert Tour. They are very excited about being able to come and talk about their experiences and share their talent with us. OJCC Program Chair, Dina Kotler, who has arranged this presentation, has also worked with the Candesca Ensemble all year to organize and fundraise for the tour. She, as well, will share her experiences as a Chaperone on a trip through seven European cities with these young ladies. An exciting evening of family entertainment is in store for everyone to enjoy. Please note that the presentation will commence at 7:00 pm. Coffee and dessert will follow. |
