Westside Fire/Rescue Fundraising Car Wash |

Westside Fire/Rescue will be assisting Mount Boucherie Secondary School (MBSS) with a fundraising car wash on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008 from 10:00 – 3:00 pm at Zellers and Save On Foods.
Money will be raised by donation for the Jonathan Neitsch trust and for a bursary in the name of Chad Chretien. Jonathan Neitsch is a Westside student who is currently battling cancer. The serious illness of a child would challenge any family, but the Neitschs have been hit even harder by the fact that Jonathan's father, Alf, has been fighting his own battle with Parkinson's disease for fourteen years. Unfortunately Alf's poor health no longer allows him to work. Both these illnesses have left a financial burden on the family. Chad Chretien graduated from MBSS this year and was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. His teachers, fellow students and friends are grieving his loss and are putting their energies towards developing a bursary to assist a deserving MBSS student. |
