On September 6th & 7th from 10 am to 5 pm, Lake Country Memorial Hall and George Elliot Secondary School will come to life at the 15th annual ArtWalk show & sale.
For just $2 admission, attendees will be exposed to the sights, sounds and tastes of the Okanagan. Welcoming thousands of visitors to Lake Country over two-days, ArtWalk is an art festival brimming with imagination and creativity. Lake Country ArtWalk is a spectacular arts festival that attracts more the 6,000 visitors each year. Showcasing the caliber of creativity and talent in the Okanagan, some of the finest painting, sculpture, photography, performance, literary and music entertainment are featured over the two-day event. Highlighting the Valley’s wine region, “creativity UNCORKED” is the theme of this year’s event. On Saturday, September 6th, opening night at ArtWalk will culminate in an evening of wine and tapas featuring premium wines from Gray Monk Estate Winery. Following the reception will be an energizing musical of “Ain’t That A Shame”, performed by Juno Award Winner, Kenny Blues Boss Wayne. From the infection tempo of the boogie-woogie, to New Orleans jazz and rock n’ roll blues, this musical pays tribute to legendary jazzman, Fats Dominos.
