EXPLORE THE WORLD OF ART IN THE OKANAGAN The Arts Council of the Central Okanagan presents Open Studios, a collaboration of local artists inviting you to explore the world of art in a leisurely, self-guided tour of artists’ studios on July 25th – 27th and August 8th – 10th from 10 am – 5 pm. More than thirty artists spanning from Penticton to Vernon and communities in between will open their studio doors for the public to drop by and discover art in the making; from painting, sculpting, jewelry making, metal and glass work. Step inside a potter’s wet room, marvel at the craftsmanship of stone masonry or witness the making of glass-beaded jewelry and printmaking. Take the opportunity to experience art in the Okanagan and meet the artists in your community. This is a free event sponsored by the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan.
