The Economic Development Commission of the Central Okanagan Regional District and Okanagan College will be hosting a presentation by the Provincial Nominee Program – Citizenship and Immigration Canada – Service Canada on how your business could access Foreign Workers.

In the past few months there have been many changes to these programs and this is an opportunity to here from each Department on current processes. As well representatives will be available to answer individual questions.

What you will learn:

How can you hire someone on a temporary basis?
How can you bring a worker here permanently?
What programs exist to bring workers to lower skilled occupations?
What is a Labour Market Opinion and how do I obtain one.
Does Immigration have any exemptions to allow me to bring in workers?
What happens after I obtain a Labour Market Opinion?
