The Okanagan Greens Society is busy producing the 3rd Annual Organic Okanagan Festival – the Okanagan’s green living expo!
The 2008 festival is on Fall Equinox, September 21, 2008 and is gearing up to be the largest & finest event to date. It will be held at the stunning grounds of Summerhill Pyramid Winery, with the main vendors’ marketplace located on the sunset veranda, a 2000 square foot, and open-air, covered space including an outdoor venue for a mini farmers’ market. The sustainability lecture series and Organic Okanagan Film Festival will be held in the pyramid, with First Nations cultural experiences and a folk music area surrounding the elegant Mallam Heritage House that has been on the property for 110 years.
