The Kelowna Garden Club will presenting a Juried Flower Show at Guisachan Heritage Park, 1060 Cameron Street, Kelowna. Saturday, July 5 10 am to 5 pm. Everyone is welcome to enter; no entry fees; entries accepted between 8 am and 9 am. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded; trophy presented to aggregate winner The Kelowna Garden Club has taken part in the Annual Guisachan Flower Show for several years. After Guisachan House was closed down due to a fire two years ago, the Garden Show was discontinued. This year we are happy to announce that we will once again present a beautiful show open to the public and free of charge. The event is sponsored by Interior Credit Savings Union. This year’s show will be a “Juried Flower Show”. There will be ribbons and prizes for the winners and a trophy for the aggregate winner. Everyone is welcome to enter the Show, and there is no entry fee. Many members of the Kelowna Garden Club are artists as well as gardeners, and will present some of their works, along with displays of Bonsai, Ikebana and Orchids. There will also be a sale of plants from the Heritage Garden. Refreshments will be served.
