A selection of acrylic paintings from Salmon Arm artist Terry Greenhough are on display through the end of July on the Regional District of Central Okanagan Art Wall. The office is located at 1450 KLO Road and is open weekdays, excluding statutory holidays, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For 36 years, Terry has been painting aspects of nature such as flowers, fish and old man made objects that have been abandoned in natural settings. He’s often inspired while actively cycling, hiking and camping. Since retiring in June 2004 after teaching high school art for 26 years, Terry is pursuing his painting passion full time in acrylics, pen and ink, Prisma Colour Art pencils and en plein air painting. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Manitoba and an Art Education diploma from the University of British Columbia. Terry’s an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and has been a member of the Salmon Arm Arts Council where he served on the gallery program committee for three years and chaired the School District Art Teachers Association.
